our embers collection pieces hail from a mountain region in china. jingdezhen, a small city in the mountains of east china's jiangxi province, is best known as china's porcelain capital. on the world stage, it is another word for china's quality ceramics. jingdezhen's history of ceramic-making dates back over 2,000 years.

it all started from a love for clay. a natural, sustainable material that can be transformed into various shapes and forms, clay holds endless possibilities. each design is truly one of a kind, with its own unique textures and imperfections. our embers collection ceramic vases were created using these artisanal clays and techniques to add a subtle, but dramatic texture that mimics what you see on burned wood.
