refund policy

 

we have a 30-day return policy, which means your return must be requested within 30 days of your order date for a refund or store credit. please see exceptions section below for items that do not fall under our standard return policy.

for all returned items that are not defective or damaged, the return shipping cost will be the responsibility of the customer. however, if you choose to receive a store credit, this return shipping cost will be waived.

to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging.

damages and issues

parker + gibbs stands behind our products. each piece is carefully finished and packed to ensure safe shipping. we ask that you inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

exceptions 

unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds or exchanges on:

  • custom items
  • furniture: all furniture, including smaller items (e.g., side tables, table lamps) and larger items (e.g., sofas, dining tables, sideboards, etc.), is final sale and cannot be returned, except in cases of damage or manufacturing defects. please inspect your furniture upon delivery and report any damage or defects within 48 hours to heythere@parkergibbs.com with your order number, photos of the damage, and packaging details. we will arrange a replacement or refund for verified claims. to ensure a perfect fit, please review our measurement guide and verify dimensions before purchasing, as returns due to size mismatches or changes of mind are not accepted.
  • lighting: returns of lighting items are subject to a 20% restocking fee per item and must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging. custom lighting orders are final sale and non-returnable.
  • wall art: all artwork and wall art is a custom product and is final sale.  
  • candles: unused and unburned candles may be returned. candles that have been lit, burned, or opened for scent testing are not eligible for return or refund.
  • sale items
  • holiday or seasonal merchandise
  • any items delivered over 30 days ago

exchanges 

the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

refunds 

we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. upon receipt of the package, if it is determined that the item has been used, damaged, or in an unsellable condition from damage or neglect by the customer, parker + gibbs will not issue a refund. 

this process could take up to 7 business days from the date your return tracking information shows delivered. if approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method or given store credit if applicable. please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

gift receipts 

gift receipts will be refunded in the form of a store credit in the amount of the gift receipt.
